Ben Lando Ben Lando of Iraq Oil Report Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 ISTANBUL – The head of Iraq’s Midland Refineries Company said two of the three pieces of the new 70,000 barrel per day (bpd) capacity tower arrived last week and it will be online at Baghdad’s Daura Refinery by February as scheduled.
The first expansion of the refinery used 26 process modules to add 20,000 BPD of refining capacity to the existing capacity of 20,000 BPD plant and the second phased provided an additional 60,000 BPD of total refining capacity and was completed in 2011.
